New Color Scheme For The Friendship Boats

PHOTOS: Friendship Boat Debuts New Nautical Blue Color Scheme at Walt Disney World

So, the Friendship Boats have a new paint scheme, dark blue.

I think it makes the Friendship Boats “blend in” better. I’m mixed on this as I like the motion the transportation, buses excepted, makes, i think it give “life” to the area. But I really like the color and I think it make them look more sleek. Plus they look a little Disney Cruise Line is in this scheme.

Now as a OLD time WDW person I would hate to see the Castaway boats go this way.

What do the rest of the denizens of D-Cot think?

It looks fresh and clean and sleek, I like it. Freshening up is good, and they didn’t take five years to do it!

Definitely nautical! I think it looks more like a submarine. I know they’re yellow but it reminds me of the Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland

So do I, it’s better than being out of dated. I’m glad they finally restored the friendship boats.
