My 17th WDW Trip – in 2017 too! – Day 3 (Magic Kingdom))

So this trip seems to have considerably more crowds than when we went in late July of 2015. These parks have been pretty full, but still not so bad that the good planner can’t work around them and take their time doing so. We have not rushed to anything this trip so far and it has worked out well and we’ve seen so much!
This is our first planned day at Magic Kingdom and this is what we did:
Arrived at MK and got through the gate at 8:35am.
Saw the new welcome show at the castle stage before the ropes dropped at 9:00am.
We went through the castle to Fantasyland and got in line for Peter Pan’s Flight. Waited 20 minutes to ride (20 minute posted wait).
Went to Splash Mountain in Frontierland afterward and waited 25 minutes to ride (20 minute posted wait).
Big Thunder Mountain next with FP+ at 10:15. Waited 5 minutes to ride.
Into Adventureland for Pirates of the Caribbean. Waited 15 minutes to ride (20 minute posted wait with line backed up halfway through the queue under the canopy).
Jungle Cruise with FP+ at 11:10. Waited less than 5 minutes to ride. Skipper was one of the best ones I’ve heard!
Toured the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. No wait
Walked to Fantasyland for Lunch reservation at Be Our Guest – Food was great as always!
Currently on Afternoon Break with plans to return to MK by 6:15pm for the Tiki Room, a
, Country Bear Jamboree, FP+ for Haunted Mansion and Happily Ever After Fireworks!Great morning! Lots of fun! Looking forward to that

I would love to know your thoughts on the new Pirates photo spot, because I personally am not a fan of it

The only thing I might have switched up was getting a before the afternoon break… and then again another after the morning break 
Again… we are totally related. Not only are your days perfectly matching up with mine, but also Rope Drops, Be Our Guest lunch reservations, and afternoon breaks
Update! Evening at MK was a *huge* success (and Trump isn’t even in HoP yet
)! AnyWHO we got to see the Tiki Room, go next door for our ‘s and by the way, so much better than last October. Larger portion and having vanilla back and the float back was great! Last year they just gave us very small size pineapple only cups Then we just turned the corner into Frontierland and saw the Country Bears, used our FP+ at Haunted Mansion and found a spot to watch Happily Ever After.We got to the hub around 8:10pm for the 9:00pm fireworks and the spots were slim pickens (not the actor…he wasn’t there
) But we did manage to find an adequate viewing spot to the south east corner of the hub and have a seat on the pavement while we waited. The show is far and away better than Wishes was in my opinion! That said, between the projections and the fireworks, it’s almost too much for the eyes to take in. To avoid the masses exiting right after we strolled into Tomorrowland to ride Space Ranger Spin and the PeopleMover, then left. We waited in line quite some time before we were actually able to fit on a bus though, but we expected that
