Monorail purple was the one involved in the accident where the driver was killed.Oh wow! I forgot about that. I also had no idea which color it was. Yeah the hat box ghost is my boyfriend’s mug, but I hijack it when he’s not here. lol
If I recall correctly, the Starbucks Epcot Mug with Monorail Purple hit the shelves after the tragic crash of Monorails Pink and Purple
Some people took note of the color of the monorail and made statements saying it was disrespectful because of the crash, so Starbucks pulled the mugs from the shelves immediately and later replaced them with a different color.
When they took the Starbucks Epcot Mug with Monorail Purple off the shelves, people were selling theirs on ebay for about $200-300
