My first Trip to Disney World was my honeymoon at the beginning of 2011. We went back a couple years later with a big group, and then again just last year in December. Planning another one for this coming January (but my husband doesn’t know…it’ll be his birthday present at the end of October). It’s just the two of us, and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Koda (named after the character in Brother Bear). I’m a teacher at the elementary school, teaching Title 1, which is a federally funded program that gives extra reading and math support to students who need it. Every time we go to Disney, I like to try something new. This next trip I think we are going to try for the Keys to the Kingdom Tour.

I don’t know what it is about that ride. From the minute the flute music hits I take a deep breath and tell myself, “ahhh you’re at Disney!” It feels like one of the last pieces of the former Future World that I loved so much but only got to see once. By the next trip everything was changing.
