All the rides at the ’64 Fair were relocated to DLR. When WDW was being built, CoP was moved to FL and America Sings replaced it

ah! I always just assumed CoP came straight from the fair to WDW. I never knew it started out at DLR. I guess that was before my time. lol

It’s a sad shell isn’t it? I find it odd that after two refurbs, Disney…DISNEY couldn’t come up with something with the theme of IMAGINATION that the public would embrace. At this point, if they don’t bring back the original, I would rather see them get rid of the entire idea and turn it into a sort of Philharmagic dark ride featuring scenes from old to new Disney movies. That would be AMAZING if you ask me! That’s the one thing the parks are lacking if you ask me. That would be my ideal ride through experience. A Spaceship Earth of Disney Films with amazing animatronics! Oooh now I’m getting all worked up. hehe! Makes me think of another thread to start…..
