Disneydana12 XPI’m sure this has been done before but I’m new so humor me. lol If you could bring back only one ride to WDW, what would you chose. ONLY one….I know that is near impossible for most lol. For me, I’m going to go with World Of Motion. I’m a sucker for the omnimover type rides. I would be the biggest supporter of the fabled Forgotten Disney World park :'(
April 22, 2017 at 4:51 pm #23482I have only begun going frequently since 2015. All I’ve really missed are Captain EO and Maelstrom. I’ll take Captain EO anyday
April 22, 2017 at 4:52 pm #23483Does bringing back an original version of a ride that still exists count? Or do you mean something that’s completely gone?
April 22, 2017 at 7:06 pm #23493I would bring back Horizons, when at the end you get to choose one of the three destinations Space, Sea exploration & Desert. Rumor has pointed
that mission space will be closing for lengthy refurbishment this summer, maybe like vintage Epcot Center?April 22, 2017 at 7:35 pm #23497

bpellinen292 XPI would LOVE to see the original Figment ride. I’ve only ever seen the current one, but I’ve heard a lot about the original one, and how much better it was. I would also bring back the Backlot Tour.

I only did that one once as well. I guess my first visit to WDW was the best considering it still had Horizons and the original Imagination. Now I don’t remember Imaginations being one of those blockbuster rides, but it certainly was better than any of the versions they’ve come up with lately. I really don’t know why they don’t cave to the peoples demands and just change it back. It’s nothing but a set change and you know they still have all of the props somewhere. The only thing I remember about the ride was that even then, it seemed to have no lines, and it was a very pretty ride. It was my very first ride on my very first WDW trip. I also remember thinking, “this is it? Maybe I AM too old for Disney.” So it really wasn’t that great even then. I snapped out of that attitude after riding better rides. Maybe not the best ride to start out with? I remember Horizons being dead as a doornail too, but I liked it. Heck Mission Space is just as dead when I go. Never any real lines to speak of. I sure wish they would give Future World some love.

unphiltered22 XPFor me it would be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!
I never had the chance to ride it (mainly because the line was always so long) but it is my biggest regret from Walt Disney World!
April 24, 2017 at 9:38 am #23673I’m pretty sure it would be Horizons. I’m willing to make the trek to Disneyland for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. And while the gondolas from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland sound fun, Horizons is probably the more fulfilling choice.
But depending on your definition of “WDW Ride”… maybe the train at Fort Wilderness?! http://www.extinctdisney.com/fort-wilderness-r-r
Or River Country at Fort Wilderness.
Or even Discovery Island.April 24, 2017 at 9:51 am #23681I’d say Innoventions. We really enjoyed all of the different activities and thought many of them were fun.

Figment32 XPMr. Toad’s wild ride~!

Yes, the original Journey Into Imagination if we’re restoring a ride to its original. If I could have more than one pick, I would also bring back El Rio Del Tiempo. It was so much better than Gran Fiesta Tour!
As for bringing back an attraction that’s completely extinct, I also vote for Horizons

Yes, the Dream Machine that Dreamfinder rode in the original Journey Into Imagination is currently in Mouse Gears. I make sure to visit it every trip
