[RESOLVED] Forum responses

When I post to a forum (such as “what in the world”) it takes me back to page 1 of the forum instead of keeping me on the end/page i just posted to. Also, it still won’t let me post something i’ve already posted in that forum (such as common questions like “is it in a park?”).

I encounter this issue as well. I think it would be great if the link to a forum on the Home page feed (such as “What in the World”) could take you to the most current page in that forum instead of Page 1.

That happens to me all the time, especially with the duplicates. Since it automatically sends me back to page 1 whether my response posted or not, I have to go back to the last page to see if my response is there.

Me too. Although I haven’t had the issue of it not letting me post, it does seem to be taking me back to page 1 a lot.

I’ll admit though, the not being able to post duplicates does make the Alphabet Game thread a little more challenging

It’s when you get to X that it becomes a little too challenging

I updated the activity feed so that when a reply is made the name of the thread will link to the actual post. When you reply to a thread, you will be brought to your post. As for the duplicate issue, I will have to look into it more.

It’s been great at stopping spammers, but as y’all have mentioned, it can be a little too restrictive when you genuinely need to say the same thing twice, especially when playing “What in the World?”

@rocketear99 Yes, I guess I kinda like the extra challenge in the Alphabet Game!

The old forum we had a button that brought us the first unread post… that would be helpful.

Also the ability to quote someone and have it highlighted or a different font to differentiate a quote vs. the posters text…. or maybe I don’t know how to you this forums quote button

Just some of the things I miss from the old style forum….:)

You can now quote. There is a link next to the “Like” button.
