The locations of the new security is at the TTC, resort monorail stations, and the Magic Kingdom bus stop. Starts monday and hope it clears some of the Magic Kingdom traffic at the park. I’ve known about this for a couple months now thanks to an inside source. :D :rsaber:

Absolutely! And I hope this will spread out people a little bit and hopefully not back things up so much during crowded times at the entrance.

I know at Disneyland they have moved the security from just befote the entrances to DL & DCA to now include the Downtown Disney, too.

I appreciate the money and effort any and all venues put out to help keep people safe – it is a crazy world we live in now. Thanks to all who work in the fight to keep us safe!

I am all for it! Good idea to screen folks at the TTC! Maybe they’ll eventually have a method to screen guests before we get on the buses, more often than not we’re standing around waiting anyway!

The way security has been working at MK up to this point has created a rather large bottleneck at the main entrance to the park with baggage lines backing up far enough at peak times to the point they nearly intersect each other. That by itself is a security risk. By spreading out the security check point into multiple security checkpoints, it should make way for fewer bottlenecks, more thorough checks, and quicker entry into the park for guests. I like it!

Especially by checking at the monorail resorts – Imagine guests being checked as they trickle onto the monorail platform rather than all at once with everyone else when they disembark. If I know Disney, this will become a solution that makes a lot of people safe AND a lot of people happier by shortening the lines at check points. :ears:
