D-CoT Meetups Via Zoom

Looks like we will have 6-7 for the meetup today at 11:00. Here is who will be there: Eagle90, Ccoop73 (maybe), Acamm, lcmurph, cdolan1990, starbee, and ABeach. Feel free to join us by clicking the link a few posts above this one. This is something we are trying out and this will be the very first D-CoT Zoom Meetup. I’m sure there will be a few wrinkles, but it will be fun to see how it works.
AAR (After Action Review for you non .mil types): Meeting went fairly well. Some technical issues with cdolan1990’s connection but he got it figured out. Good discussion about Disney, COVID-19, telework, online school, etc.
I enjoyed being able to put a face to names. Some I’ve seen before but others I hadn’t. I’m sure no one had seem my ugly mug before
. We had five folks on today and we would love to have more! Thanks Andy for putting it together! We should do this weekly if everyone is interested in that.
Sounds good to me. And in fairness to @ABeach & Zoom, the issues where with my company laptop! Turn out the audio and camera are disabled by default in the windows setting. The more you, know huh
PS the camera is at the bottom of this laptop, its a very unflattering angle! A word of advice for future users haha

It really was fun to interact on Zoom. Great putting faces and voices to Eagle90 and cdolan1990. It was also cool to have Obi and Leia join us for a minute or so. I think a weekly Zoom meetup would be fantastic. What is a good day for everyone. I will throw out Friday mornings around 11:00 as a suggestion, but am totally open to other ideas.

Sounds good to me, although 11am for you is at the moment 4pm for me (and as of this sunday it’ll be 5pm for my if you guys don’t do daylight savings) so i may not always be aroud at that time
