D-CoT Meetups Via Zoom

During these difficult days of distancing and isolation it can be challenging to maintain positive social connections. One way we could enhance our D-CoT connections is through brief (live) meetups through social conferencing. One we use for work and for our church small group is Zoom. If anyone is interested just respond to this thread or message me directly with your email address and I will work to get a trial run setup in the coming days. Here is a link to Zoom https://zoom.us/. If there are other suggestions for ways to implement a group video meetup feature please feel free to share.

We at work use Microsoft Teams which seems to be working very well. Not sure if it costs though 
Awesome! Looks like Microsoft Teams is free and offers online audio and video calls. The basic version of Zoom is also free. It allows a meeting to host up to 100 participants but limits the meeting to 40 minutes.
I think it is so great that there are options when it comes to utilizing this form of communication.
If you are interested in a Zoom meetup with myself and other D-Cotters, just message me your email address and I’ll add you to the invitation. Also, I understand that not everyone is on the same schedule, but if you want to let me know generally a time that works best I will work to accommodate. I am tentatively thinking about sometime on Wednesday for a trial run.

@Eagle90 @Ccoop73 and @Acamm Looks like we will be the first four guinea pigs to try out the first ever D-CoT Zoom call. Would Wednesday around 11:00am central work for all of you? Let me know if you prefer another time.

What time is it now (Central Time), i tried googling but it games me 2 different times one hour appart, something to do with Washington DC?

I’m PM him. Thanks. For me it’s 0930, I think some states don’t do daylight savings and that’s why
