Looks like Bambi will be the next disney movie to get the “live action” (CGI) remake. As if seeing his mother pass was not hard enough already!

i mean i’m not surprised but why??????? (ok i know why – $$$) but seriously, didn’t they learn anything with the lion king? animals, whether they’re CGI or not, can’t emote! it takes away all the heart and emotion of the story.

although, i guess it’s good because this is what bambi’s reaction will be when the mom dies. a lot less heartbreaking to watch

Yeah I’m not sure I could get through it. It’s a huge reason I can’t watch the new Dumbo either. (the scene with his mom guts me in cartoon form alone, I cant handle live action)

It’s a no for me. Having recently re-watched the original animated version with my kiddos…I’m just not a fan. We’ll pass.
