    Hey Mouseketeers, I just got one of those fancy cords that will let me pull off the video from old VHS tapes and put it on to my computer. Well here is where you guys come in.
    I am looking for unique/ random vhs Disney titles from back in the day. What were your favorites and what should I keep my eye on when I am looking for some good old Disney VHS that never or will never get a dvd or blue ray copy. Thanks sooooo much! :lamp: :popcorn:

    How cool! If you’re looking for unique, I would suggest a lot of the early live action films like the Love Bug movies, Shaggy Dog, Great Locomotive Chase, etc. Lots of choices in that category.

    We have a couple of Christmas ones that aren’t available on Blue-Ray or DVD. “A Disney Christmas Gift” and “Jiminy Cricket’s Christmas”. We watch them every year, but only once, because we’re just waiting for the day the VCR eats them, or the tape wears completely out…..

    Song of the South – most definitely! It’s been banned so it will never be released on Blu-ray or DVD, but I wish it would because while I still have my VHS tape, I don’t have the machine to play it. I love that movie, especially with its ties to Splash Mountain, and wish I could still watch it :(

    This was also going to be my suggestion. This or Black Couldron.

    How about Pollyanna and That Darn Cat! Those are 2 of my absolute FAVORITE classic Disney movies!

    The Three Lives of Thomasina!!! One of the best movies. It’s terribly sad, but I love it.

    The Apple Dumpling Gang? Escape to Witch Mountain? Two that quickly come to mind. Some cool movies in here that I’ve never heard of! :surprised:

    You all have excellent taste in Disney classics! I can only second what everyone else has said so far!

    @sammie_kay
    I will be interested to know what specific device you bought and if it works with good quality. I tried one of those some time back and it was pretty terrible. I want to get my VHS tapes on digital too! I have the original Star Wars Trilogy :vader: in its original format on VHS. You can’t buy it that way anymore and I REALLY want to save it digitally while I still can!

    You mean the unadulterated version where Han shoots first? ;)
