Thanks everyone! I am excited to hit up some thrift stores and yard sales to see what I can find. I was going through my own collection and found some types of Adventures in Wonderland if anyone remembers that show. I will find out the name of the cable I got and let you know. It has worked pretty well so far.

Some of my favorites are the Kurt Russell (Dexter Riley) films from the late ’60s-early 70s.
    The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes
The Strongest Man in the World
Now You See Him, Now You Don’t

There were also a couple of Tommy Kirk films that I liked:
    The Misadventures of Merlin Jones
    The Monkey’s Uncle

And one that is kinda corny (Hey, it’s 1970s Disney…) The World’s Greatest Athlete :)

You all have excellent taste in Disney classics! I can only second what everyone else has said so far!

@sammie_kay I will be interested to know what specific device you bought and if it works with good quality. I tried one of those some time back and it was pretty terrible. I want to get my VHS tapes on digital too! I have the original Star Wars Trilogy :vader: in its original format on VHS. You can’t buy it that way anymore and I REALLY want to save it digitally while I still can!

It was called Diamond One touch video capture. I can plug it in to anything that has plugs for audio and video. =)

VHS tapes in general seem hard to find. Disney ones even more so. I myself have a small stack of Disney VHS’s that I don’t need anymore since I upgraded to DVDs. Still have plenty of VHS tapes I still use though!

Song of the South – most definitely! It’s been banned so it will never be released on Blu-ray or DVD, but I wish it would because while I still have my VHS tape, I don’t have the machine to play it. I love that movie, especially with its ties to Splash Mountain, and wish I could still watch it :(

You can find poor quality DVDs of it on the ‘net. I bought one. I’m thinking once I got it, the quality shows it might not have been a legal copy but I didn’t know that at the time.

I actually purchased Song of the South on DVD and it’s rather good quality too! Still I play it sparingly because I doubt I’ll ever be able to lay my hands on another copy in such good condition.
