I have shared a little about my daughter and you have all been so kind. Today is GivingTuesday and I wanted to share how my daughter shared with the world during her struggle and after her passing. She was a true World Changer! https://alyssasfund.com/ (I’m not asking you to give, although you are welcome to). I really just wanted to share her story and how she gave and made a difference and encourage each of us to do what we can to make a difference in this world! Be a world changer!

November 28, 2017 at 12:31 pm #56953Same here! @Ferg, I had no idea how special, selfless, and inspiring of a person she was. How amazing that her life can be honored in so many ways and that she is remembered with such by so many. I cannot imagine the heartbreak that all of you who loved her must feel every day since her passing, but she made such a significant impact in such a short time. I know that you take solace in seeing all of the good that she provided to this world. Thank you for raising such a wonderful person!

We miss her every second of every day. But we take comfort knowing how much her life truly mattered and that we will see her again. We often say we are so glad that we were given the honor of being her parents.
November 28, 2017 at 8:08 pm #57011I remember reading the original thread where you shared your angel’s story. My eyes are watery reading her story again. What an amazing person that her wish was to help others. You must be so proud!

Just amazing. And I’m sure she continues to “Do Something” even to this day in miraculous ways.

November 29, 2017 at 8:10 am #57037Omgosh, thank you so much for sharing your daughter with us. What a special, lovely girl she was…. you’re so blessed!!
November 29, 2017 at 9:22 am #57054I can’t begin to imagine your pain, and again I am so sorry that such a precious girl had to endure so much so young. I am so, so impressed that a girl her age had the perspective to see outside her own situation and want to help others above herself. She accomplished more in her 15 years than many will in a lifetime. Thank you for sharing her story, it’s inspiring!
