Hi all, My cousin and I are in WDW 0/19-24. The Swanphin (my home away from home) is sold out for our last night, though they are trying to get us a room. IF I needed to move to another resort for one night which would you recommend. We would probably go for a Moderate or even a nice value. Suggestions are needed and welcomed. :map:

If you’re looking at a moderate, I’d recommend Port Orleans French Quarter. It’s small, but loaded with details and charm. And then there’s the beignets

I also love Coronado, but with the construction going on over there I’d be hesitant to book if it’s going to be your only experience with this resort.

I’m going to throw my support to POFQ also. Small so you don’t have to worry about a large trek with luggage or anything like that.

Port Orleans is a resort I’ve only heard good things about. I will also vouch for Pop Century or Art of Animation.

I haven’t stayed at any Values so I can’t personally recommend any of those. It’s been a looooong time since I stayed at Port Orleans but I would recommend POFQ for sure

My favorite Moderate is Coronado Springs Resort. Its so beautiful, and the main pool and pool bar are awesome. The resort is very relaxing… and they have a terrific food court.

My 2nd favorite Moderate is another vote for POFQ… the boat to Disney Springs coupled with the small size of the resort makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Under normal circumstances I’d put a good word in for Caribbean Beach. But with the construction, I’d go elsewhere. Put me in for another POFQ vote. Small, well themed, lots of charm, convenient busing. For a value, PoP would likely be the best fit. Loved AoA, but standard rooms are to the back (close to PoP) and more expensive.

Our Favorite resort has (and probably always will) been POR. The themeing is great, very relaxing and its a short walk to the food court, Yeeha Bob, and the buses. I tried to win the 400M so I could just live there, but that didnt happen…. :(

OK I’m going to try for POFQ. Not sure we will get in this close, and I want to re-check at the Swanphin, but keeping my fingers crossed for an easy move if needed.
