    I read this article on the Disney Parks Blog today and I’m really impressed! I love how Disney is committed to reducing emissions by 50% – that’s a lot! This new solar plant has the ability to power two of the four WDW theme parks each year! :clap:

    It uses up a lot of real estate though… I’m pretty sure that technology will get better and the panels will get more efficient and smaller

    You’re right, it does. But at least it’s not as ugly as the gondolas! :P I agree with what you said, I bet as time goes on the technology will improve and the panels will be smaller

    I think this is incredible! And the fact that it can potentially power TWO theme parks! Amazing! I hope more places follow suit!

    I simply love their forethought. When Walt Disney purchased ALL the land to develop and create with conservation in mind. No other entertainment complex has done this. I truly think it’s incredible.

    With all of their land I am sure at some point everything will be powered by solar or some other form of renewable energy. Really really cool.

    It is, always thinking ahead! I love that they care, so many successful companies don’t.
