This raises so many questions and my mind is unsettled. It really all boils down to, what qualifies as a toy? If I break down the spork dude, will he cease to live? If so, why doesn’t Mr. Potato Head lose life when his parts are removed? If I put eyes on my pancakes, does that make it a toy, rendering it life? Do display items such as once living gator heads count as toys and have the potential of life?

I have so many questions and it makes my brain hurt. Other than that, I’m pretty stoked.

These days, there are a lot of teaser/trailer reaction videos.

I guess the characters themselves wanted to do that as well.

Im so confused… what’s with the spork? What’s with the weird carnival toys? It seems like this movie might be much more “adult-themed”. Which makes me kinda sad.

I can’t figure out what this is about. I guess we’ll wait for see more.

Someone had the idea that the spork toy (official name is Forky) was created in a classroom. Through the use of imagination, the object became a toy, so it was granted life, so it can get with Woody and Buzz.

Not sure about the carnival toys. But Key and Peele are doing the voices, so I’m not complaining.

Seems to me the writing team forgot this important detail that makes Woody special.
I’ll never watch Toy Story 4 again. As far as I’m concerned, it never happened, and the series ended at 3

the movie was charming and i actually liked it better than 3…don’t let this ending to TS3 get you down on Woody…i don’t want to ruin anything for anyone who hasn’t seen it but let’s just say sometimes toys fall out of “favor” with their owners…my little one is constantly changing which ones are her favorites and my oldest two have put toys aside in a way like Andy…sad but true…

saw this with my dad tonight (yay for $6 tickets on tuesdays!) i’m so torn with how i feel about the ending. on the one hand, i absolutely hated it, but on the other, i think it was what needed to happen. overall though i didn’t really care for the movie in general, and i wish they utilized the older toys instead of relying on new ones (mrs. potato head had one line!!! that’s blasphemy!!) and i’m so sad my girl jessie barely got any screen time! but i love that bo peep was a main character for once

Hate it seems strong! I don’t want to own it or anything but I did actually like it. My favorite characters were bunny and duck tho…I could watch an entire movie of those two.

when i first saw the ending, i genuinely hated it idk i just feel like it kind of undid years of character development… but yeah bunny and ducky were really funny! i kinda hope there’s a TS5 just to see more of them

Oh hey I never put my opinion out here
It’s fun but it’s bad. Part of what makes the other Toy Story films so good are the interactions and adventures of the WHOLE cast. This (and Cars 3 as well) focus on one or two main characters in a new world with new characters. Buzz acts like an idiot the entire time. The ending felt weird to me. I really only like Forky, Ducky and Bunny, and Duke Caboom, but even then Duke feels pretty insignificant and weak, and Ducky and Bunny are pretty much only there for comedic relief.

@sej101 you have a good point about Buzz…here he seemed mature in 2 and 3 and then in this one he acted really dumb…like he was a brand new toy all over again.

I don’t think they will make a 5…honestly with the way it ended I don’t see it unless they start all over with new toys and a new kid.
