Also throwing out a recommendation for this and all of Defunctland’s other videos. Very well done documentaries on all sorts of theme park stuff as well as some World’s Fair stuff.

As a side note, I believe it’s important to show the non “Uncle Walt” side. It shows his flaws and shows he was a human. Too often I worry celebrities and people like him are idolized and treated like gods rather than human beings. This isn’t to say Walt was actually a bad man, in fact I believe the opposite, it’s just he’s a human being. He’s not perfect. No human is. Such is the way of life. :)

    Well I mean, I’m perfect, but that’s a different story… :stitch:

    Agreed! Mr SEJ

Also putting a recomendation out there for the rest of his videos too. He’s got some good interviews in there, the pupeeteers from bear in the big blue house and muppets stick in mind :)

His podcast had quite a few great guest stars too. I haven’t listened to it in a loooooong time, but I remember he did have the original “friend of” Dreamfinder as well as the puppeteer for Idee and Odee in Captain EO. :santamickey:
