Would you believe that I haven’t owned mouse ears since my first visit? I’m one of those people that think, “what am I going to do with these when I get back home, and do I really want to keep having to take these things off on rides?” Far too practical. lol

TPBM Hopes the new ride in the England pavilion will be more than a spinner ride.

Not even a little bit! I’ve never understood people whose favorite season is Summer. It feels like death to me. I’m a fall and Winter girl. I don’t even like Spring because I know Summer is next. I went to AK once at the end of May and it was a wasted trip because we made it to 2pm and sat on a bench until deciding to just leave and go back to the hotel and not come back….but the tickets were free so we gave it a go. Never again! I’ll only go to WDW between November and early March.

TPBM has never been to WDW during the Christmas season to see the decorations.

Oh yea!

And have to say it is my and my wife’s favorite hard ticket event! I mean, you get to go into the park and dress up in your Halloween costume as an adult, sans face coverings, and not be judged! Well, not judged for wearing a costume, but definitely judged for creativity and originality, extra points if you stick the landing! Practically unlimited free candy, that only costs you $100 a person! What is wrong with that? A Spooktacular castle projection and fireworks! And a terrific Boo-To-You parade to boot. We lovvvvvvvvvvvved Carlota at the Haunted Mansion, funny gal I tell ya, and Space Mountain with NO, I REPEAT NO, lights and lots of interactive Buddy Boil over at the laugh Floor, all amazing. Only real disappointment was the Pirates, was pretty lame IMHO, just one guy in the queue that was being aloof and mumbling plus two people talking to each other casually in one scene. BORING!

TPBM has visited Ft Wilderness to see the Halloween decorations?

I’ve been only once but I didn’t dress up. Halloween isn’t really my thing. I don’t know why but I can’t stand going somewhere where adults are in costumes and they all walk up to you with that look on their face that says, “Say something about my costume!” It’s just you in an outfit. It’s not funny and I hate pretending to be amused. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen some really clever ones that I liked but you’ve got to work pretty hard to impress me and none of these typical sexy nurse, sexy cop, sexy this, sexy that are the least bit original or creative and that seems to be the trend now. I like to see the little ones dressed up. Cutest costume I ever saw was working in the mall years ago and there was a tiny toddler dressed as Aunt Jemima. She was absolutely precious. We all ran out of the shop to see her…and you’ll never see that again. lol Sorry I get carried away with my stories, but I take these games as opportunities to open up conversations and get to know everyone better.
