I’ll be seeing it, although it’s going to be tough to compare the animated version. I’m not sure if Pat Carroll portrayed as Ursula herself or Samuel Right as Sebastian?

I’m still torn on if I want to see it. The little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie but Disney has a bad track record on live action remakes. Plus I’m still worried about Melissa McCarthey playing Ursula. I’ve never been a fan of her style of humor. The tail does look alot better than I thought it would. Not my favorite mermaid tail I’ve seen in a live action movie but far from the worst.

I will admit I’m a bit of mermaid tail snob. I know a couple people who make mermaid tails so I’ve seen how good or bad they culd be.

Just got home from seeing it and I have SO many thoughts. Short review is a couple things I didn’t like but overall 9.75 out of 10. I still prefer the animated version but that’s mostly for sentimental reasons.
