Anyone read Josh’s review following a recent trip to Le Cellier? You can find it here: http://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/le-cellier-review-and-epcot-canada-update/. I am really starting to question why I MUST go there when all I want is the cheddar cheese soup (which I made at home for Easter one year). The prices are crazy. Anyone else go to Le Cellier in the last few months?

I was just there in January. The food was very good IMO but you are correct, the price tag is so ridiculous. Each of our meals were over $50 and that wasn’t including a side dish, that was an extra 10 bucks! It was a splurge for sure and not something I’ll be able to do on every visit.

Usually when we visit the parks, we get counter service food. Occasionally, we do reservation dining-when it’s for a special occasion because $$$

My mom requested a nice sit down meal at least once when we go for Tinkerbell in May and chose Ariels Grotto for lunch. I know many of you are WDWers, but has anyone else eaten there?
Their menu looks delicious and I’m already drooling over it.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve been there, but I did chose Ariel’s as my sit down meal the day we were at DCA and the meal wasn’t memorable at all. Sorry to say. :( I also wasn’t impressed with the atmosphere there. The one neat thing that I remember was that there was a guy that people kept stopping and taking pictures with, so I asked the table beside me who he was, and they said, “Jax from General Hospital.” Pretty cool. lol I much preferred my meal at another restaurant there called Wine Country Trattoria. Here’s their menu if you’re interested. I did the World of Color lunch package. http://allears.net/dlr/dining/menu/wine-country-trattoria/lunch

Here’s a link to the Ariel’s menu and reviews. It gets very low marks on Allears. Possibly the lowest rated restaurant I’ve ever seen on there. Might want to rethink that one. http://allears.net/dlr/dining/menu/ariels-grotto/lunch
