Red Balloons??

I have a coworker who loves to tell a story of how if a cast member sees a child having a bad day they give them a red balloon. Then all the other cast members know to fawn over said child and make their day better. Now I’ve worked for Disney and know my fair share of knowledge and I’ve never heard of this. She says it’s from a long time ago… still I’ve never seen anyone else say anything about a red balloon. Have you ever heard this red balloon story?

Nope. Never have…. but I wouldn’t put it past the CM’s to do this though
