@steve I normally get an email when someone replies to one of my comments but I haven’t received them for two days. I found some in my spam folder yesterday but I haven’t received anymore after those. I see I have notifications on the website but I don’t get the emails. Any idea what’s going on?

I would add notifications@d-cot.com to your contacts to avoid it going to spam. Let me know if that works.

Added it and it’s still not working.

Are the emails going to spam or not being delivered at all?

Not being delivered at all now. I had some go to spam yesterday morning but haven’t received any since then. The only way I know I have a notification is to see the red box on the bell on the D-CoT page or if I go into my profile and click on notifications. I really like having the emails so I can just click on the link and go right to the thread.

I checked the mail logs and it’s a 421 error code. This error that is ESP throttling, and this occurs whenever the recipient’s email service provider (ESP) has received a large number of emails from a specific IP in a short amount of time. Due to this, they will not accept messages for a certain period of time (usually an hour) until they have processed all the emails from the original batch sent.

I would have to buy a dedicated IP to fix this and I don’t have the funds for it. :(

Ok, so if I understand correctly, nothing you can do on your end. It’s a Yahoo problem. I might see about another email address.

Thanks for looking into it! :)

@steve, I tried updating my email but it says I have to click a link which would go to my Yahoo email. But it’s not being delivered to my Yahoo email so I can’t click the link. I’m stuck! Can you update my email manually?
