    @Ferg what islands will you be visiting? Do you have any particular excursions that you are planning to book? :cool: :up:

    It is a 7 day cruise from New Orleans with stops in:
    Cozumel, Mexico
    Belize City, Belize
    Harvest Caye, Belize (I think this is NCL’s private island)
    Costa Maya, Mexico

    I have zero ideas on excursions at this point since it is 13 months away still. :( I don’t think most are listed on the website yet. Have you been to any of these places?

    That sounds like a perfect itinarary @ferg !! I have been to Cozumel, and we HIGHLY recommend THIS as an excursion: http://skyreefcozumel.com/ We took a taxi cab from the port for I THINK $12 each way. The taxi’s are fixed prices and regulated by the government, so don’t worry about getting taken advantage of. The snorkeling was absolutely amazing there! It was like swimming in a fish tank!! Wow!! They had live Maraichi band and amazing food!!!! They also had a gift shop with hand made items … we bought a few things. We literally spent ALL day there, about 6 hours or so…. we cannot wait to go back!

    That sounds PERFECT!! We swam with dolphins in Cozumel and that was awesome. But the food was bleh (but the bar was free!) and we didn’t get a mariachi band. :)

    But I really wanted to be sure we did some snorkeling next time because Jenna has never done it. I was a bit nervous about where to snorkel because some places are just not good and you never know until you are there which ones are good and which ones are bad. THANK YOU for this suggestion!

    Did you book it through NCL (where you are guaranteed not to get left by the ship if something happens) or book it directly yourself?

    Nope, we did not book ANY excursion with Norwegian. We literally got to each port and hired taxi’s to take us to locations we researched online. It was MUCH cheaper! We made sure that we were back to the ship 2 hours BEFORE we were supposed to though… that way we wouldn’t get left behind!!
