I’d have to agree with you on that one. As much as I love the land, the movie didn’t grab me. I don’t even remember any of the characters names! It was only popular for the ‘stunning visual effects’ which aren’t very stunning anymore.

But it does make a good land apparently. :|

I haven’t experienced the land yet, but I like what I’ve seen. I’ll see it for real in October. I’ve stayed away from ride spoilers so I’m going to be completely surprised. Like you I saw the movie, only once, I don’t fully remember the story, I can’t remember the characters’ names and I forgot Zoe Saldana was even in it. I only remember Sam Worthington and Sigourney Weaver. I didn’t hate the movie, but I wasn’t blown away. I was actually a little disturbed by the multiple uses of the ponytails… I don’t care to see the movie again. I feel like everyone’s pretty much forgotten about it aside from the land opening.

I’ve only seen it once and only remember the key plot points and Sigourney Weaver. The land doesn’t have much to do with the story though. If you’ve know key plot points, you can see little nods here and there, but most of it doesn’t have to do with the story.

[/quote] It’s always good to stay away from spoilers, especially if you know for a fact you’re gonna see it IRL.

I know there’s sequels that have been in the works for many years now, but all we really hear about Avatar is the Animal Kingdom related. The movie legacy has sort of died.

Of course if you know my opinions about Avatar and Disney’s decision to incorporate it into their parks, you know I’m not at all surprised ;)

  Right there with you! The fact that 2+ hour waits are a disappointment to them is disheartening. So basically Disney wants your whle day tied up for one attraction? Shows that guest satisfaction is low on the priority level…

Thanks for the report. Sounds like a fun and busy day! :ears:

@RIDisneyPinGuy If you come to the park and spend half your day in line, you save Disney money :P
