I’ve discovered a quirky little phenomenon that, when I listen to certain songs while driving, inexplicably it gets all misty and wet inside the car, and suddenly I can’t see! (I’m looking at you, “When She Loved Me” from Toy Story 2.) Surely that can’t be safe, so in the interests of better highway safety for all, tell us which songs aren’t safe for you to listen to while you’re on the road.
I’ve got to be careful with the Happily Ever After medley. It may incite just a leeeetle bit of speeding from time to time, followed by that weird damp eye phenomenon. So odd. And forget about The Kiss Goodnight.
June 12, 2018 at 3:43 pm #79892this is great! I agree on Happily Ever After! Sometimes Paint the Night has that effect on me too
June 13, 2018 at 11:08 am #79908lol sometimes i’ll get too into part of your world and start to get teary-eyed.
June 13, 2018 at 1:16 pm #79916“When you wish upon a star” gets me every time. I can’t listen to it while driving or I’ll get all teary eyed and oops.

Nearly inexplicably: the big, long Horizons score-only track. When I get listening to the Desert Scene music and the Space Scene… they’re just so magnificent/peaceful!June 13, 2018 at 2:07 pm #79928‘We Go On’ weep weep time
at end of day at parks.‘Tapestry’ about mile marker 12:30 on…

For sure. I almost played it for the father-daughter dance at my wedding. I decided that might be a little too much for my mascara and went for a non-Disney tearjerker for the joint mother-son, father-daughter dance, What a Wonderful World.

Yes! Horizons gives me chills!

For sure!!!
June 14, 2018 at 12:42 pm #79987This might be weird, but Soarin’. Not always, but there are a few tracks that instantly take me back to the parks and make me think of happy times. Soarin’ is one of them so sometimes when I hear it I’m transported back and I get all emotional
June 14, 2018 at 12:55 pm #79992The Living Seas- Area Music…
So here’s the rub… It is (almost) a sure-fire way to get the kids to nap on a car ride [was 100% effective when they were younger]. But, if I leave it on, I am at risk of falling asleep as well.
June 14, 2018 at 1:02 pm #79993I’ll agree @vikingmickey — Tapestry of Nations, and even Tapestry of Dreams are BOTH tearjerkers in their own special way. They definitely remind me of fond times and wonderful memories, as @starbee said!
And in the spirit of @RIDisneyPinGuy… Sequoia Lodge! Never driving to that music EVER!
June 14, 2018 at 1:28 pm #79995I’ll have to remember to steer clear of that one, @PA_Timekeeper .
I failed to address the tearjerker… There is only one that might qualify, that would be Epcot-Future World- Magic Journeys Waiting Area Music. It is perhaps the one track that literally brought back a memory of my first trip to WDW. I can remember the exact spot in the queue I was standing, the way my parents faces looked, the temperature, the way the room smelled. It is kinda eerie. The track has a way of making me long for those simpler times, and makes me wish I had more memories that were equally as vivid.
June 14, 2018 at 1:40 pm #80005AnonymousInactiveXPThat was the song I chose for my daughter’s wedding
June 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm #80006“We go on” makes me cry even at the park. It’s just a tear jerker for me ever time.
