I admit. I’m super excited for this one. I hope it comes out in a not showing season so that we can see it at the drive in!
I think this will be a great way to really honor the real Mulan!

i saw the trailer during the world cup!! i can’t believe i’m saying this about a live action, but it looks awesome! i’m sad they won’t be having music, but i’m really digging the serious tone of it. i don’t think i’ll miss mushu too much

Not sure how I feel about this. I’ve said many many times that I’m burnt out on live action remakes and I’m pretty much skipping them all. BUT, this does look a little different, like they’re making it more serious and adult. I can’t tell from the teaser so I’ll have to wait and see. While I would miss Cri-kee, Mushu and the amazing songs, I may be open to a more adult presentation of the story.
