Kroger and gas points

I am not sure how many of you live in an area with Kroger and use their fuel points on the reward card but I found a wonderful Disney tie in. When you buy gift cards at Kroger you always get 2 times fuel points so for a $50 gift card you get 100 points. They frequently run specials where you get 4 times fuel points. Our last trip I started buying Disney gift cards each month – trying to hit the 4 times points. When we got to our Disney hotel we were able to have them put the gift cards directly against our room total before we checked out! I did not buy as many cards as I wanted as I was afraid I would get confused with a bunch of cards in the parks so that was a fantastic option when they told me we could just have them applied to the room bill. Since we charge all of our park stuff; dining, shopping, etc to our room with our magicbands this was a fantastic way to help pay for the trip and we also got the benefit of cents off on our fuel. I will definitely be doing a lot more of this for our future trips!

If you want to do this as well make sure to call the hotel to make sure they still take the gift cards as a form of payment, but I don’t know why they would stop.
