We have a lot of people from all over and I would love to have one spot where we can see where all of our lovely members came from.
So, how did you find D-CoT? :ears:

I was looking for Disney Parks music on the web, so it was kind of random. Great site and awesome people on it.   :mbar:

I found D-Cot through Joncey @joncey87 who was posting about it on Facebook years and years ago!

Same as @grumpytude . Years ago I did a google search for Disney Parks Music one night as I was paying bills at home. I found D-Cot, and bookmarked it. It became my twice monthly bill paying music… and also my Disney Vacation planning music… and sometimes my office listening music. Over the past few weeks I realized it was an online community and not just music tracts, and decided to join in and meet some fun people!

+1 for @grumpytude. Specifically, I was searching for background loops. I like to listen to them as I work.

Technically I didn’t. My daughter found it while looking for some Disney music to play while she studied and did homework. She showed me, I joined and have never looked back. Great music, great community, great friends.

I was reading the Disney Wedding Blog (which later changed it’s name to Magical Day Weddings and in a couple weeks will be shut down altogether :'( ) while planning my Disney wedding. I was reading a blog post about the magical Disney wedding of Steve and Michelle. Michelle wrote in the blog post that her groom loved Disney and was excited to have a Disney wedding. She said he loved Disney so much he had created a website called D-Cot. I immediately went to check it out, who doesn’t want to visit a Disney website? :smirk: I signed up and the rest is history! :ears:

Actually I found out about this on the DIS. I was on some thread where folks were talking about how much they enjoyed browsing YouTube and such to listen to just music and POVs from the parks and someone mentioned listening to tons of it on D-CoT, so I checked it out. Been here ever since. Over the years I got increasingly more involved here and less involved there. It was easy to make the transition. Lots of great conversations and great music and it’s great to chat and both hear and respect our differing opinions! Love it! :ears:

My brother showed it to me a couple weeks after we returned from our trip to Disney. I’m not sure if he even listens anymore (I forget his screen name — he’s in the background of my profile pic)… but I do! LOL

I used to be a member of dtuneslive – did not know about d-cot. When dtunes went off the air I was desperate and started searching. So glad I found this site and the wonderful people on it! :)
