This is the first I’ve heard of a NEW AREA being developed at Hollywood Studios that doesn’t have anything to do with Star Wars or Toy Story. This sounds like they are just reimagining the Muppets courtyard area, as well as all of the building facades. The addition of a new corner pub: Baseline Tap House is going to make my husband very happy

This sounds cool but I’m wondering if they are over reaching in order to compete with HP. Eventually (now) the pricetag for this will be passed on to the attendees.

@10dedfish Of course! I’m sure they will tack on a few cents to each cookie and brownie and Mickey Premium Bar … maybe a few dollars to each ticket. Yup… I can see it too!

Once I heard of Grand Avenue, I’d say a month ago, I realized it would be right next to Muppet Courtyard where they re-painted some Streets of America. But I never expected them to re-name Muppet Courtyard (which, to be fair, was only named Muppet Courtyard when Streets of America closed).

As long as they keep Muppet Vision, I’m good. That show is too good for me.

Now it makes sense why they changed the Muppets sign, that seemed very arbitrary when they did it. I think with the removal of Streets of America they needed to change this area a little to have it fit it. I like the sound of what they have planned! I saw a little of what’s going on in a recent video by Tim Tracker and it’s looking awesome! I love that they’re trying to keep a Hollywood vibe, that’s what Hollywood Studios should be about and I don’t want them to lose that. DPB says it will be opening in the fall so I hope I get to see it in October!

@starbee I also recently watched that Tim Tracker vlog, and I’m very happy they are keeping some of the building facades !!!!
