I hope this is as creepy as it looks! I would love for this to be a horror comedy with some legit scares

! @BacksideOfWater was going to ask, wasn’t there already a HM movie? Maybe Disney is just trying to sweep it under the rug and pretend it doesn’t exist. As long as it鈥檚 better than the Eddie Murphey version I鈥檓 good. Granted that鈥檚 a low bar to clear.

Went to see it today. Absolutely phenomenal! With all the crap Disney has put out lately we kept our expectations low. Then we started seeing report after report of people loving it and we got more hopeful for a good movie. WAY better than good! Highly recommend! Never expected it to be as good as it was!

I forgot it released this weekend! I plan to see it, just not sure when. I’m so happy to hear it was so good! Finally saw Haunted Mansion a couple of weeks ago!
I agree with @BacksideOfWater that it was a mix of silly and scary that reflected the ride. I truly enjoyed the film!
As an aficionado of the ride (as most of us here are) I was geeking out left right and center at all the nods and easter eggs
as a horror fan I also loved the scary and creepy moments. I felt like the story played well on the ride and didn’t try to change things or force anything. Worth seeing in the theater in my opinion. I recommend!
