In September, I’m going to be in Orlando, alone for one day. I decided to hit the MK all by myself like an adult, because I am. I’ll have about 5 hours there, according to the calendar hours of operation that day. If you have had this as a bucket list item, “to do Disney alone”….what would be some of the things you’d love to do? Would you ride rides, sit on Main Street, shop, walk around and drink a Starbies? Give me some ideas for my five hours.

Depending on how long you have been going to MK one thing to do is seek out those nostalgic things. :willie:

Once, when my lovely wife went back to the room I had a few hours in the park all by myself and that is what I did. Rode my nostalgic favorites (Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain & the People Mover) along with visiting Tom Sawyer Island and just sitting and watching people, all the while looking for remnants of things from those times past and remembering the good times.

    I like what @PaydirtBurt said.

Since I live so close, I’ve taken many solo trips. I like to walk around the park and take it all in. I look for photos I can take of obscure angles. If an attraction has a 5-10 minute wait, I’ll hop on. I would sit on a bench on Main Street and people watch for a while. I’d grab a bite to eat at my favorite place.

Yes! Love all of this. I guess i just play it be “ear” ;) . I do have some wonderful memories, moreso than not and would love to embrace that and just soak it all in. And yes, perhaps just walk to places I haven’t before? Not sure there isn’t but, maybe I’ll find that spot that has a great shot waiting!

Having had this opportunity, I enjoyed strolling through all the lands and soaking in my surroundings, hopping on 1-3 attractions with short wait times, and enjoying a quick service meal (or Plaza Ice Cream) somewhere with a good view of the castle.

I mostly ride the People mover too, plus the Play Disney App does it all incase there’s not much of a crowd. I sit and listen to the background music with a cup of Joe :coffee: :dcot: on Wednesday’s. Grab a snack indeed if the weather is nice. I recommend the Walt Disney World Railroad for a more relaxing way to enjoy.
