So while I’m REALLY excited for Fantasmic! to return this summer, I’m a little bummed over the changes that I’m hearing.

Pirates replacing the Peter Pan segment (when you hear that first BOOM! before the ship is lit up is complete magic IMO) and Lion King replacing the Jungle Book segment.

I know that sometimes change is needed but we don’t need to always do away with the classics. Tom Sawyers Island was already taken away to re-theme as Pirates, let us have Peter Pan, ok?!

After waiting this long, they can put just about anything in there but Home on the Range and I’d be happy. Disneyland is desperate for some night time entertainment. MSEP is just too old and not Disney enough to be cutting it for me.
