I love eating in the parks! My favorite quick service meals are:

Magic Kingdom – Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe (I’m a HUGE fan of Sonny Eclipse. He performs constantly there!)
EPCOT – La Cantina de San Angel (Mexico’s quick service)
Hollywood Studios – Was the ABC Commissary, but now Woody’s Lunchbox!
    Animal Kingdom – Satu’li Canteen

Make sure you let us know where you end up!

For my opinion, there are multiple categories of QS locations. Counter, carts, hotels even food trucks.

For Breakfast this is my suggestion. Pack a suitcase of plastic bowls and spoons and cold cereal. We usually pack those little assorted boxes. Get milk in the store in the lobby. Eat breakfast while others are in the bathroom getting ready. Throw it all out when you head home. Not only is this a HUGE cost savings, but at the end of your vacation, you will have an empty suitcase for those all important souvenirs on the flight or drive home.

For lunch and dinner and from a sit down perspective. I am a huge fan of sitting down to eat just so everyone can take a moment to re-energize and not slam their food before the next attraction.

    MK –
Lunch – Be Our Guest – JMHO, best quality and environment in this park for a QS
Dinner – Pinocchio Village Haus – I like the diverse menu here. Not only do you get the knee jerk kids meals, but there is a diverse selection of prepared foods for adults.

EP – Frankly, Just about any outside location is good in the World Showcase is good. It’s really about what you want. Ive eaten at about every QS in the World Showcase and havent been disappointed. I also suggest trying something outside of your comfort zone. The World Showcase is a good place to experiment with cultural cuisine. It’s like eating the World.
When you get to the Table services, I see more of a difference in quality.

    AK
Flame Tree Barbecue without a doubt is the best QS. Not just at AK, but WDW wide. I usually eat both my meals here. I also like Harambe Market. I usually eat at the market if I couldnt get into Flame Tree

HS – *Caveat* I have not been here since Woody’s Lunch Box – This menu looks interesting to me
Nothing screams outstanding to me. Fairfax Fair was decent. For the most part, just about anywhere you go, it will be filling but not outstanding

DS – Disney Springs really has some great QS locations.
Aristo Crepes has good savory crepes.
The Basket at Wine Bar George has some very creative fair. I’m Italian and this sort of service is right up my alley. I eat like this at home
The Earl of Sandwich is a must if you’re a sandwich person.
The Paddock Grill is worth a try as well. I love pork belly……..

Not all locations accept Dining Plan. Here is a link of all QSLs

ooh yeah i forgot to tell you guys what i picked! okay so i actually cancelled the dining plan, and also ate at three sit-downs. but for quick service i ate at columbia harbor house, electric umbrella (i think it was that one? one of those chicken nuggets and hamburger ones in epcot, i forget the name of it) flame tree bbq which hands down was my favorite meal! i agree with @dngnb8 it’s def the best QS on property! ummm i also ate at blaze burger which i didn’t really care for, i ate at the pop food court a couple times which was meh, casey’s corner, and ummm…. i think that’s it? OH i didn’t get to try the mexico quick service because it was wayyy too crowded, but i got guacamole and a margarita from the little booth in mexico and that was yummy!

I avoid burgers and hot dogs at the parks. It is incredibly difficult to make those stand out in a quick service environment. Glad you liked the Flame Tree. If you have a chance, go on youtube and look for the hour special on Park Food by Unwrapped. Its an old episode but much of what is in it, is still there.

aww man, I think we heard a collective “groan” when you said, “Electric Umbrella” at Epcot lol. It’s historically been the worst pick for QS in Epcot considering all of the other unique options in World Showcase. I don’t know about anybody else but I think my eyes bugged out of my head there. LOL (you’re lucky I didn’t fall on the ground and roll around a little) haha! Glad you had a great time in spite of that. ;)

    Hi Julia,

It sounds like you have heard some great options. I would echo some of my fellow d-cotters recommendations:

Animal Kingdom – Pecos Bill’s – Snack Option – Friar’s Nook (Amazing tater Tots!!!)
Epcot – Sunshine Seasons – ALL THE WAY!!!! (second option would be Mexico because I love Mexican)
Animal Kingdom – Yak and Yeti Cafe or Flametree BBQ
Hollywood Studios – ABC Commissary – great place to relax in AC and enjoy some decent food :)

    Have a great trip!!!
