So, they eliminate the Citrus Swirl in the Magic kingdom, Don’t know about the Poly.

Cast Members at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom tell us that the Citrus Swirl will be discontinued for at least the next two years.

But are flogging the heck out of new Orange Bird Merch!

The 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival brings new merchandise inspired by Orange Bird, Mickey Mouse, and Spike the Bee.

I mean, WHAT THE you know what?!?!?! Does it take 2 years to install a new soft serve machine? Heck we Make them at home.

Oh well, just needed to vent about one of my favorite things, and bump up my XP , but mostly vent.

That is oddly specific and calculated, I wonder what the thought process was? Makes no sense to me, it’s clearly a popular offering, cheap to produce, easily sourced, not sure why they’d take it away. These arbitrary decisions by Disney have always confused me. Like let’s switch the menus of Pecos Bill and Tortuga Tavern. Why? They share a kitchen! The citrus swirl removal is reminiscent of when they removed vanilla soft serve from Aloha Isle so you could no longer get a vanilla float. What was the point? Thankfully they did bring it back so maybe there’s hope for the citrus swirl.

wasn’t that gone for a while already and just came back a few years ago? either way they know its popular, with some even more so than the pineapple, so why???

plus like you say @PaydirtBurt they are making Orange Bird a huge icon again. really makes zero sense

I’m gonna say that Citrus Swirl announcement was a little premature, however nobody mentioned Dole Whip.
