Hi my family(wife and 2 kids age 3 and will be 1) will be going to Disney world in September and staying at the boardwalk villas with my parent and my brother and his wife and their children as well as my sister. We are arriving on Saturday the 15 and going to the parks Sunday thru Friday. I was looking for suggestions for a place to take my wife for dinner the Saturday we arrive for a romantic evening my parents are gonna watch our kids. Would love to find a nice place to take her in the resorts or Disney springs any suggestions? Thanks

Get a reservation @ Monsieur Paul. Walk over France via Int’l Gateway.
After dinner, watch Illuminations and then walk Home. :)

In the vicinity of your hotel…. Yachtsmen Steakhouse at The Yacht club or Shula’s Steakhouse at the Dolphin

I agree with the former suggestions: Monsieur Paul and Yachtsman Steakhouse, especially because they’re close to your hotel. If you’re going in park Le Cellier is another good one, as well as the Coral Reef if you like seafood. Over at Hollywood Studios, the Hollywood Brown Derby is a personal favorite of mine too.

In-park, LeCellier is a great choice. Coral Reef was very good as well, and both on our honeymoon and 5th anniversary trip the staff went above and beyond anywhere else in their service.

For at the resorts, another hidden gem for a romantic dinner is Artist Point. The food and service are both fantastic.

Jumping in late but I would not recommend Le Cellier as the wait times even with reservations can be prohibitive. We ate at Monsieur Paul’s for the first time our last trip as well as Yachtsman Steakhouse and I would highly recommend either one of those. Le Cellier’s food is fantastic but the wait might stress you especially if you want to get a romantic stroll in before you pick up your kids after dinner. :)

I will second the suggestion for Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. I’ve been there twice and it was absolutely superb! I will also add a suggestion for Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge. For something less expensive than those two, I recommend Trattoria Al Forno on the Boardwalk. All that said, while the price is high for Artist Point and Jiko, you get very good quality food, a more quiet atmosphere and (in my experience) excellent and knowledgeable service.

I was thinking about resort restaurants close to your resort, but if you want to venture further out, Artist Point for sure! We went there on our honeymoon as well as our 2nd and 4th anniversaries and it never disappoints! Food and service are amazing, it’s a romantic choice for sure and has a dress code.

The Swan and Dolphin have some fantastic restaurants that you might want to consider. I had one of the best meals of my life at Bluezoo, and the steak and service at Shula’s is top notch!

I always talk about the desserts there, because it’s such an unexpected place to find incredible desserts. The atmosphere is really interesting, the service we had was friendly and attentive, and the fish was incredible.

The Chefs Table. Costs a bundle, but it is just your party, and the chef of Victoria and Albert’s.
