This may not be a bug but rather is potentially by design.
When you put the number sign (#) in a comment it treats it as a “link”. If you try to put two number signs in the same comment it gives a message of you are trying to post too many links. I found this out first hand by trying to put two number signs in a reply to RocketEAR99’s post about two truths and a lie. I tested it on another random spot and confirmed.
Again, it may be by design but I thought you should be made aware if not already.

The hash tag is used to create “trends” on the site. If you click on that hashtag it will go to the search page and show you other items that are using it. For example, if I hashtag #DisneyTrip it will show you everyone who’s going to Disney soon. :D

EDIT: I clicked the link and in the forums it does not behave as intended. I will take a look.

EDIT 2: I updated the link.

No worries. And if it only takes one of those in a post because of it, that’s fine. I didn’t try it out in the forums, this was only on a comment on the home page.
