This looks like it could be fun!
New Disneyland After Dark Event Series Kicks Off January 18 with Celebration of Vintage Disneyland
November 13, 2017 at 3:52 pm #55199Sounds like another cash grab if you ask me. Who knows, it may end up being worth it :|
November 13, 2017 at 3:57 pm #55200I honestly think this sounds fun! Especially if people dress for the occasion! I always thought that the Disney Date Nights back in the early days of Disneyland sounded so fun!
November 13, 2017 at 4:03 pm #55201I’d like to know the number of hours and price, but it does sound like it could be very fun! Dress up like the 50’s and 60’s, and you’re right Heather, it sounds kind of like the Date Nights of yesteryear. It has potential!
November 13, 2017 at 4:06 pm #55202I think that’s exactly what it’s supposed to be like. I mean Dapper Day gets a huge rush of people dressing up so why not make it an actual event?
November 13, 2017 at 4:34 pm #55204I agree on wanting to know hours and price!!! I think anything over $55 for this type of event would be way too much. Unless they are going to provide fun treats and extras like at the Halloween party. But it would be fun to see the Date Night brought back! Dapper Day is huge as it is, so I agree that it would be a huge draw for that type of crowd!
November 15, 2017 at 2:58 pm #55549Oh wow, this sounds SUPER amazing! This sounds like something that Kevin and I would LOVE to do!
December 2, 2017 at 5:48 pm #57518So they announced the price is $95!!
Its 5 hours from 8pm-1am. They encourage people to dress up in 1955 style. They have attractions open but only list 4 and added “and more”! So there’s no clear answer. I wonder if it’s just the original attractions? They have characters, DJ, etc. the fireworks show us a replica of the first fireworks Disneyland did. We actually saw this a couple years ago during the anniversary and weren’t impressed. It lasted maybe 5 minutes. I wouldn’t spend this much money for what they are offering during this special event.

https://disneyland.disney.go.com/events-tours/after-dark/December 2, 2017 at 6:21 pm #57519And after further reading on the DL AP Facebook page, it sounds like the theme of the after dark parties will change for each party. But they don’t fully announce what you will enjoy at your party and tell you to reference the special party map for open attractions and entertainment. I find it even more difficult to pay that much and truly not know what you will experience.

I absolutely agree with you!
December 6, 2017 at 7:37 pm #58156If they listed it all out, like they do for parties, then I could tell you if I feel it’s worth it! But they are so vague! And on their FB page, people were posting and asking those specific questions and the response was to check the special event map you receive at the party for all open attractions and entertainment. So there literally is no heads up!
