Hilton Head Island – 6/24/17-7/1/17 Day 4

Tuesday was probably the most laid back day of the vacation. We slept in, all got our own breakfasts (except I made more french press
for everyone again). Then we all ventured down to the beach for several hours. Dad headed back to the condo a couple hours before the rest of us. I got lots of water time and reading time. Knocked out a few more chapters of Never Call Retreat. That evening, shortly after we all got back from the beach, we made burritos and guacamole for dinner. Afterward we went mini golfing at Legendary Golf – aka the most challenging mini golf courses I’ve ever played! We played their most difficult of their two courses and I finished under par! One of only a handful to do so that day.
We went back to the condo and watched the next Hobbit movie: Desolation of Smaug…but wait, before we did that, Dad and I did something on impulse. We drove to the nearest movie theater just to buy popcorn (movie theater popcorn: often imitated, never duplicated) and THEN we watched the movie
And so ended another relaxing day!Yeah I told my dad that spontaneous going out to buy something I’m craving is something I hadn’t done since college.
That is such a brilliant idea to buy the popcorn and take it home! I may have to remember that one!!
Sounds like my kind of beach day…. beach, reading, and Mexican food!!!
