There have been a lot of new character meet and greets added since my last trip to Walt Disney World and it’s got me thinking about who I want to meet on my next trip. Who are your favorite characters to see? They can be old favorites like the main mouse himself, or some of the newer characters, I’m just trying to plan my character interactions for my next trip
I want to see some of the new additions like Star-Lord and Groot, but I’m also hoping to catch characters like Joy and Sadness who aren’t new anymore, but were added after my last trip.

StupidJudy71 XPI always feel awkward with meet and greets, I can’t help but think “who’s in there?”, I have to coach myself and play along. And for face characters, I still feel awkward, I just don’t know what to say, besides hi and thank you.
My favorites are :mickey: and Pluto, Stitch and Marie. I would love to meet Gaston but then I don’t know what he’ll say and it makes me nervous. I have control issues! :|

July 3, 2017 at 12:44 pm #36695We have so many favorites, Cammie always seems to have such great character experiences. Lucky duck
– Anastasia and Drizella are hilarious! They are so much fun and the faces they make in the pictures are amazing
– We’ve always had fantastic meet and greets with Tiana. Each one has been so charming and perfectly in character
– Joy and Sadness are great, and the Baymax meet and greet has never had a long line when we’ve been there. They’re both inside, well themed, and really cute!
– I wish they still had both Aladdin and Jasmine in the Morocco pavilion, because they have been amazing
– Not an official meet and greet, but the Green Army Men in Pixar Place are always a blast!July 3, 2017 at 1:15 pm #36698Well, of course Tigger and Ariel for me rate the tops. But also love Talking Mickey and Tinkerbell is fun too in the same area. Joy and Sadness were great, totally perfect characters. I always love Pluto, and he loves the nose scratches I seem to give him every time. Those mischievous little chipmunks, Chip and Dale are always fun when we get to see them.
I love the impromptu meets like Kelly mentioned with the Green Army Men also. I wish they could do more of those with the main characters but I understand why they can’t. The mob scenes would be horrific.
@StupidJudy, you should see Gaston! He is amazingly perfect! And he would LOVE you, especially if you show the slightest sign of shyness or blushing. He would eat that up!

StupidJudy71 XP@nascfan, he’s hilarious in clips I’ve watched! What’s weird is that I am not a shy person in “real life” I guess it’s the whole acting in character part that throws me off!
I forgot Chip and Dale, love those two as well.

July 3, 2017 at 2:58 pm #36718We love meeting the Wicked Step sisters at 1900 park fare, they interact so well and they are fun ! As much as I hate to say it Kylo Ren was a lot of fun to me also because he interacted really well with us to even though he’s evil Lol
July 3, 2017 at 3:32 pm #36721Oh man, we really love Character Meet & Greets~! A few of our favorites have been:
– Chewbacca
– Olaf
– Pocahontas
– Dug & RussellJuly 3, 2017 at 3:45 pm #36722– We’ve always had fantastic meet and greets with Tiana. Each one has been so charming and perfectly in character
Yes! We are planning on attending Tiana’s Ice Cream Social next trip I’ve never met Tiana before but I’ve wanted to!
– I wish they still had both Aladdin and Jasmine in the Morocco pavilion, because they have been amazing
I didn’t know they were gone! my nieces love them!
July 3, 2017 at 3:47 pm #36723– Pocahontas
– Dug & RussellIs Pocahontas at AK? I haven’t met her since she had a show there (at least I think it was at AK). And oh yes I forgot about Dug and Russell, that has never worked out for us but I hope it does next trip! We’ve had half days or just 1 day at AK in recent years so that had a lot to do with it
July 3, 2017 at 3:47 pm #36724I’ve heard BAD things about the Tiana Ice cream thing. BAD things

I was waiting for someone to give me flack for that. I take Disney reviews with a grain of salt. I’ve never read a good review of Sci-Fi but I love it, and everyone raves about the Garden Grill but our last experience there sucked. With an average of 50,000 visitors a day, they can’t be on their A game all the time so I’ll cut them some slack. I’m willing to try it and see how it goes. A good friend of mine did the Ice Cream Social earlier this year and loved it, I trust her review.

StupidJudy71 XPThe Olaf meet and greet does look fun, I read the area where they do the meet and greet smells like tanning lotion? That might convince me to go take a look, Olaf doesn’t look threathening.
