Is this a sign that they’ll remove Figment from Epcot?
Figment May Be Going Away Based on Walt Disney World Guest Survey
May 8, 2017 at 10:23 am #26221I think I’d be only a little sad if this came into fruition. Take it with a grain of salt because the Ellen rumors haven’t come true for over half a year now
May 8, 2017 at 10:24 am #26222Not sure about that. I think they know that Figment is popular based on how frequently he appears on merchandise, for example Flower & Garden and Food & Wine Festival merch has featured Figment for the past few years. If he wasn’t popular that would have been a bust years ago and they would have stopped. But clearly from that survey they’re trying to figure something out. Maybe they’re researching just how popular he is for something like being an icon for an event? Or if they should create a Meet and Greet? Personally, I don’t think Disney give a flying squirrel how popular an attraction is before they change it, so I don’t think it’s to put feelers out for an Imagination Pavilion revamp.

There’s always rumors! I heard a rumor that Indy would get the ax from 2012-2015 and here we are, it’s still going strong. Hopefully I didn’t just jinx that

You could also add the Mad T Party in DCA to that. It was ALWAYS busy. The drink lines were ALWAYS long. The band has a huge following here.
May 8, 2017 at 12:29 pm #26256Yes, all of that is exactly what I’m talking about!
May 9, 2017 at 4:58 am #26343I hope not, I know there is always rumors, I like figment so I hope not !
May 9, 2017 at 7:44 am #26360I like Figment. I never saw his original ride with the Dream Maker, which I have heard was so much better than the current one. Maybe they’ll change his attraction back to closer to the original, seeing as right now his ride is almost always a walk-on (which just means my husband and I get to ride it more often!).

Actually, I thought this topic was about you.
May 9, 2017 at 9:45 am #26404If they get rid of Figment and keep Ellen’s Energy Adventure I’m gonna be hella mad lol

I can only hope! If they brought the original back that would be incredible!
May 9, 2017 at 1:25 pm #26441I love Figment. He is so cute and I love that ride because of him. I still don’t understand why they don’t get rid of Ellen. I’ve only ridden that a couple of times and almost fell asleep both times. It’s so boring.
