It’s a reboot of Doogie Howser, M.D.

It’s set for early September on Disney+

Generation X folks (such as myself) will recognize the theme song.

It looks worth a shot. We enjoyed the original. I’m curious about the name though, Doogie. In the original his name was Douglas, hence the nickname of Doogie. What would be the counterpart to that in female terms?

I did too, this looks like some easy-watching background TV. Yeah you got me on the name. Maybe it’s a nickname?
