Yeah, WDWNT did post this, but we do have reason to believe it. My dad casually mentioned that it was in talks a month ago, it may be that have gone through and is coming to fruition. Still, I’m waiting until actual construction begins to believe it.

Yeah… I know they’ve found permits filed which gives a little more credibility than pure speculation, however Universal have filed several permits in the past that never amounted to anything, so I wouldn’t go as far as to say that’s “confirmed”.

Would be nice but either the Electrical Pagent gets moved or eliminated or there will be stairs/elevator/ walkway up and over the place where the Electrical Pagent resides

@85glht Or they could do a drawbridge like the one in Epcot’s World Showcase between China and the Outpost. This is always how I envisioned a potential solution

I’ve been wishing for this idea for 10 years, and it came true. WDWMagic is my favorite website for news, they don’t post it after the announcement.

I don’t think so they’ll lift the bridge for the pageant to continue the show. BTW the Electric Water Pageant will stick around for the 50th anniversary.

There were plans to have a walkway built, between the Magic Kingdom and the Grand Floridian.

Here’s the progress report on that project.
