Iron Man 5K – July 4
I figured 4th of July was the best time for my Iron Man 5K it was pretty hot already when I got out to the trail, but I still made it! The scenic views helped for sure. I was happy with my performance and I love my medal!

Distance: 3.1 miles
Pace: 10’57”

Finally got around to running my July 5k yesterday morning. I started about 7:30am trying to beat the heat. The whole thing was hard because I ate total junk the day before and I could feel it every step of the way. But, I was still able to record my best 5k time so far this year so that was pretty exciting!

On to August!
