I agree! I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t seen the original… or quite a few other classic Disney films, for that matter!

The mommy/baby stuff still pains me. The original broke my heart into pieces and I was probably a toddler when I watched it!

My three year has the same soft heart. Crys at all the Disney movies.

I’ve seen the original and yes different to the live action with a real baby elephant. Tim Burton who directed Alice in Wonderland & Disney Legend Danny Elfman will score the music will return. You know what i say to that…brilliant!

I have to admit, I was very skeptical when I saw that Tim Burton would be attached to this project but so far I’m in. I just hope he doesn’t go too “dark”.

i actually just bought the original dumbo this morning from disney movie club because i’ve never seen it! i wanted to be prepared for the live action i’m so excited!! i love danny devito!

I just don’t know how I feel about this movie yet…
I didn’t really care for the way Tim Burton did the Alice in Wonderland movies and I’m afraid this is going to be the same.

I really wish they would come out with fresh, new ideas and stop recycling these movies. Some things are better left alone.

Not sure I want to see this movie or watch the trailer… I love the original Dumbo but it’s still sad. I think live action plus Tim Burton will make this too emotional for me.

Kind of off topic but I definitely agree with this. I don’t see the point of all these live action remakes, especially when half the characters are CGI
