I mean, that’s the fee for the one in DL. And for me personally, I like knowing that we have the OG one that was created by Walt himself. Gives it more of that nostalgic feeling, which I am all about.

That’s true, the point of the clubs in WDW is just to have something exclusive for the elite. There’s history behind Club 33 at Disneyland.

Exactly. This to me is literally a straight money grab. There’s nothing special and awesome.

Totally my original point… there is NOTHING SPECIAL about this at all…. I can MAAAYBE see how it would be special to have ONE Club 33 in WDW…. but to have FOUR??!?! Thats kind of ridiculous… especially at the membership fees and yearly dues… I mean… C’mon!! Poooo on you greedy Disney executives!

And another thought…. Will each Club 33 be a restaurant? Or just a LOUNGE????

Almost everything is these days with Disney. They’re like politicians giving in to those with tons of money. I get that Disney is a business, but that doesn’t mean you have to aim to please millionaires while alienating the majority of society. I think it’s people like us who are the repeat, loyal customers but we’re getting pushed out.

Well, my wife and I definitely can not afford to belong there never mind eat there. If people will pay that kind of money to belong/eat there, why not build these clubs… Disney must be broke to have to do this, lol.

On a different note, our first Adventures by Disney trip was the Southern California/ backstage tour of Disneyland…. we did get to visit and have breakfast at the original Club 33…. it was awesome to have this chance…. unfortunately, they don’t do this anymore :(

holy moly, that price is way too “special” for me, that’s about 6 of my Disney trips just to get in. I’d just rather visit the parks :goofy:

@starbee the residents at Golden Oak were sent info back in January as they are the first to buy-in. Disney themselves have not given the info to the public yet, but the info got out from Golden Oak. A few different sources have discussed this list of perks, but here’s where the list is laid out the same way I have it:

Pricing, Benefits List Revealed for Club 33 at Walt Disney World, First Location Expected to Open Soon

That sounds so awesome. The only reason I was able to go to Club 33 is because we have a friend who used to be a member. He isn’t anymore (because they kept raising prices and finally priced him out) but I was grateful for the opportunity.

Disney has always been a money grab. You will pay from 150-200% for the same item sold elsewhere bought at Disney.

But let us remember, the reason they are tops on technology, experience, food etc is because the have the funds to invest and create.
