Festival of the Arts 2020

This year’s Festival of the Arts’ menus include both fan-favorites and delicious new items!

There’s only a few more days until Epcot’s Festival of the Arts is back for 2020! The festival starts January 17th and runs until February 24th. While I’ve never been to FotA, it’s the Disney event I most want to go to. Between the food, the art, and the nightly Broadway concert series, it’s everything I could have asked for. I especially love how the food items tend to focus more on presentation than any other festival!

From what I gather, the booths seem to be based on a combination of different countries (much like Epcot’s Food & Wine) but some are also art themed. A lot of fan favorites are back, like the Japan booth’s sushi donut, and The Artist Table’s artist palette chocolate chip cookie.

You can also find the almond frangipane cake from Pop Eats, which is layered with raspberry jam and Belgian chocolate. I love the way this cake looks because it gives off strong Mondrian vibes! There’s also the lemon and blood orange tart from Decadent Delights, and the deconstructed Reuben sandwich from The Deconstructed Dish booth, both of which go to infinity and beyond in the presentation department.

There’s other festival-only food items that are not at any festival booths but found throughout Epcot. For example, there’s the peanut butter and jelly sandwich funnel cake with peanut butter ice cream, marshmallow cream, and raspberry glaze from the funnel cake stand in American Adventure. Also, the Refreshment Port is serving “lobster chips,” which is apparently house-made potato chips, lobster, lobster bisque cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños and citrus cream. I couldn’t find any pictures of these items since they’re new to the festival, but honestly, that funnel cake sounds so good I’m about ready to book a spontaneous trip to Orlando.

Will any D-COT pals be at Festival of the Arts? If so you’ll have to let me know how it is! And if you’ve been before, what are your top food choices? Let me know in the comments!
