As part of EPCOT’s 40th Anniversary celebration, a new Beacon of Magic debuted specifically for the milestone. The first show was around 7:30 PM on October 1st to a very packed entrance plaza in front of Spaceship Earth. The Beacon of Light included music from different eras of EPCOT. This included: Tapestry of Nations Let’s Listen to the Land New Horizons One Little Spark We Go On As the show came to its conclusion, Walt Disney’s EPCOT speech was played and Walt said “We call it EPCOT!” »
