A twitter account I follow posted some pictures of DCA yesterday and how it’s getting all ready for Summer of Heroes with all the Marvel meet and greets that begins next weekend when Breakout opens.

I’d love to catch some of the Heroes this summer. But I’m always afraid to get in line. For some reason, it seems like the dressed up CMs at DL have a very short time period that they’re out in the public and then go rushing back off-stage. It’s a much bigger pain to get character photo ops in Anaheim vs Orlando.

Do you use the Disneyland app? It gives you the times that the characters are out and where they are. IMO they’ve always been pretty accurate.

If you have a chance to get to Disneyland before the end of September, I highly recommend it. DCA did a great job transforming the Hollywood area into a temporary Marvel theme. The area that used to have the Mike/Sully from Monsters Inc is now the Spider-Man/Captain America photo op (we had pictures taken there just not with the characters) and the performing arts stage is used for a Jedi Training Academy-esque Avengers training Initiative. So much fun for kids.

Now the food. SO GOOD. If you are a foodie (@eeyorepoohfan I’m talking to you!) I suggest you go so you can try all the things.

I’m such a foodie!!!! You know me so well!!!!!!! I’m not sure we will get out there before this all ends! It sounds and looks fun and the food looks good! I wonder if they will extend it?

With all the Marvel movies that are coming up and how successful this has been so far ( I know it’s only been a couple of weeks) I don’t see why not.
