Has anyone here on D-Cot ever eaten at Jungle Navication Co. – Skipper’s Canteen in the Magic Kingdom? My family has an ADR at this restaurant for our trip in September. The menu looks SO GOOD, and so different from the regular Magic Kingdom type food. If you’ve eaten there, what did you have? I’d love some suggestions! :ears:

Heres a link to the menu: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/magic-kingdom/jungle-navigation-skipper-canteen/menus/dinner/

Never had a meal there. I’ve heard mixed revues…. as with anything else in life, you have to try it once for yourselves and then make your own opinion. I look forward to your revue of this restaurant.

@Acamm We ate there last October for lunch. It was truly a great experience. Our server (excuse me, Skipper), I think, went above and beyond with his Jungle Cruise brand of humor as he provided great service. The atmosphere was really cool too and you should probably check out the other rooms you don’t get to dine in while your there.

2 of us got the noodle bowls (1 of us with duck, the other with chicken). 1 got the beefy baked pasta (lasagna), and 1 got the Tastes like Chicken. We all split some S.E.A. Shu Mai for an appetizer.

All of the food came out great and in large portions. The noodle bowls in particular were massive! It all tasted great. The Shu Mai is a must for an appetizer!

As a bonus, they serve the brazilian guarana soda and the fanta melon frosty soda with free refills. You can sample these at Club Cool in Epcot for free. They were quite a unique and welcome addition to the usual Coca Cola beverages on the menu.

We’re wanting to eat here in our next trip this October. I didn’t know they had those drinks!

@starbee You totally should check it out! Fanta Melon Frosty is my favorite, but it is so super sweet, so my stomach didn’t really want more than one refill.

I have heard mixed reviews also. The menu looks so fabulous though! I will love to report back here with my review! :ears:

This is great to know! Unfortunately, I have a Gluten Allergy so there are a lot of things that I cannot eat – such as the Noodle Bow, but there are a ton of other things on the menu that I (hopefully) can eat! However, one of the main reasons that I’m looking forward to eating there is because I have heard the atmosphere and the Skipper Servers are so awesome!

The different sodas sound awesome. My 14 year old son is going to love that! :ears:

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant but I keep going on trips with my bff who doesn’t like “Chinese food”. :smirk:

I ate there in October and really liked the food and the atmosphere. I will say that my Skipper laid it on rather thick and as I was by myself it just didn’t work as well. Make sure to look at all of the rooms, they are very different and beautifully themed. It had just opened when I was there and I think they have made the menu even better. Hope you enjoy your visit.
